Well finally pulled the first drive in the C10 off my GoPro. Did a little birthday cruise for a kids birthday near the house. My grandfather took the 55 Chevy and we met with a handful of other cars. Once I get the short list of things to finish, I will make a more polished video of the truck.

Haven’t watched the full thing but

1:50 what was that? Some sort of classic open wheeled race car. Probably a replica but still.

I think it was like a little MG replica or something. Didnt get a good look as I was getting up to speed.

Copied at the time.

When I watched it I had it on a lower quality so I can see it now. Some sort of early European open wheeled sports car. Can’y really tell other than it’s rare to see something so old on the streets.

I loved the video. It looks like a delight to row through those gears. How many has it got? 4? The camera angle was spot on and seeing the pedal action was interesting.

I was also struck by the fact that that video could have been shot literally anywhere. It looks more or less exactly like everywhere I’ve ever been.

Its a 4 speed. The transmission is a M21 Muncie, came in alot of late 60's Chevy muscle cars, i t is fun rowing the gears. The transmission is super smooth and quite. It is as good as the 4 speed in my 68 Camaro.   As far location, Im out on the far west side of the Portland suburbs, pretty much where the suburbs and farming areas blur.

You could really see the smoothness in that video. There wasn’t any jerking or noticeable deceleration between shifts apparent in the video. Not that I really know what I’m talking about though.

I thought that I saw you in North Carolina, but I was pretty sure that you weren’t local. Of course, it wasn’t you. I forgot to ask about the engine until I was driving away.
